{"id":3257,"date":"2022-01-28T14:55:37","date_gmt":"2022-01-28T14:55:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/indiejunior.com\/?p=3257"},"modified":"2022-01-28T15:55:38","modified_gmt":"2022-01-28T15:55:38","slug":"as-duas-longas-metragens-em-exibicao-nesta-edicao","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/indiejunior.com\/en\/the-two-feature-films-selected-to-this-edition\/","title":{"rendered":"The two feature-films selected to this edition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Our sixth edition of the festival, among the more than 50 selected films, has two very special feature films, aimed at teenagers, with incredible and unprecedented stories.<\/p>\n<p>The first one,\u00a0<strong><em>Mes fr\u00e8res et moi<\/em><\/strong>, by Yohan Manca, a French fiction from 2021 that which depicts a teenager&#8217;s summer vacation in the south of France.<\/p>\n<p>Nour, a 14-year-old boy, is enjoying the beginning of the summer holidays in the South of France. He is the youngest of four brothers. They live together in a council estate, taking turns caring for their mother who is in a coma. She used to love Italian Opera, so Nour plays it for her, and develops a passion for that music. Between community work and rising tensions at home, Nour dreams of escaping to a faraway place. When he crosses paths with Sarah, an Opera singer teaching summer classes, he finally finds the opportunity to come out of his shell and explore new horizons.<\/p>\n<p>The story can be watched on the big screen this Saturday (29), at 3:30pm, at Casa das Artes.<\/p>\n<p>The second one, called\u00a0<strong><em>La Travers\u00e9e<\/em><\/strong>, by Florence Miailhe, an animation co-produced between France, Germany and Czech Republic in 2021, which tells the story about a\u00a0small village looted in darkness, a family forced to flee. The two oldest children, Kyona and Adriel are quickly separated from their parents facing the road of exile alone. They embark on a heroic journey which takes them from childhood to adolescence in search of shelter, peace and the hope of finding refuge and their family. Crossing a continent torn apart by war and migrant persecution, these courageous siblings survive incredible challenges, before reaching a new world, free at last.<\/p>\n<div class=\"clear\">This session will be held this Saturday (29), at 6pm, also at Casa das Artes.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Both films has subtitles in English and Portuguese.
