A speachless film that speaks loudly and will remain in our memory&#8221;. On the other hand, the jury explained\u00a0that they decided to give the\u00a0<strong>Best Short Film Award <\/strong>to\u00a0<strong><em>About a Mother\/Pro Mamu<\/em><\/strong>, \u201cFor its imaginative use of the unique animation possibilities, for the metaphoric double fonction images and for interesting story telling solutions resulting in a bright and touching tribute to motherhood.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Young Jury&#8217;s choice (Diana Arroyo, Francisca Dores, Mariana Nunes):<\/strong><br \/>\nThe\u00a0<strong>DoctorGummy Award for Best Film<\/strong>\u00a0was also given to\u00a0<strong><em>The Red Turtle\/La tortue rouge\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>&#8220;for its ability to reach all audiences through an universal and appealing language. With an animation of great quality, this film perfectly reproduces the experience of nature. Of equal quality, the sound effects call for the viewers&#8217; senses, in a very strong sensory experience. All of these in a story about the importance of love and family ties.&#8221;<br \/>\nThe jury also decided to\u00a0give a\u00a0<strong>Special Mention<\/strong>\u00a0to the film\u00a0<strong><em>The Boy in the Ocean<\/em><\/strong>, because it&#8217;s &#8220;film which reflects quite well the whole program of the festival and shows us the changes puberty causes in one&#8217;s body, relation with the parents and other people.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The closing ceremony took place this Sunday, at Teatro Rivoli.
