We propose a debate based on the film “Morte ao Biquíni!” by Justine Gauthier, a Canadian fiction film that tells the story of Lili, a 10-year-old girl who rebels when her parents pressure her to wear a bikini top, even though she has always swum without one.
The film, which is both sensitive and entertaining, addresses themes such as freedom, acceptance, and friendship, showing how differences can be a starting point for understanding and bringing people together.
After the screening, a panel of guests and the participating audience will explore matters related to the value of friendship, respect for differences, and the joy of creating as a group—accepting each other’s ideas and individualities, always with humor, empathy, and a spirit of collaboration.
This event is organized in collaboration with the Plano Nacional das Artes and is part of the #2 Culture Education Biennial – “And instead of fear?”
Free admission – Limited capacity
