IndieLisboa attended the annual Nextus – Learning through Documentaries meeting in Barcelona. From October 22 to 25, we prepared and discussed our goals for the coming years with our partners: DocsBarcelona, DokFest Munchen, Thessaloniki Film Festival, Makedox, Arteurbana Collectif, Court Toujours, and Sottodiciotto Film Festival.

In the last year, we have registered around 73 school groups and have 1,177 teachers enrolled across the country. At Nextus, teachers have free access to documentaries and teaching resources. On this platform, they can find topics such as gender equality, ecology, artificial intelligence, among many others.
