IndieJúnior Porto returns in 2026 with a cosmic novelty: a partnership with the Porto Planetarium – Centro Ciência Viva, to present a special session that promises to amaze children, young people, families and schools with contemporary, creative and deeply reflective cinema.
A delightful interstellar journey in the kitchen. Come and try it if you want to be a gastronomic astronomer!
In the last week of January 2026, the Porto Planetarium – CCV will host IndieJúnior Porto, with a session in which animated cinema merges astronomy and gastronomy, offering very special sessions for school groups and the general public, in a space where the sky is just the starting point.
The highlight is the animated film ‘Cosmic Pudding’ by French director Geneviève Anhoury. This space film offers an extraordinary visual journey through stars, planets and galaxies… in the space of a kitchen!
✨ SYNOPSIS ✨
‘Cosmic Pudding’ is a fabulous journey through time and interstellar space, immersing us in a joyful bath of celestial objects, light and knowledge. The most surprising thing is that all the images are created exclusively from real food, animated and staged to resemble extraordinary cosmic phenomena.
Inspired by years of research in astrophysics and biology, Geneviève Anhoury’s work uniquely combines art and science, awakening childhood curiosity and joy by looking at everyday life through the eyes of an explorer.
