18 November, at 6 p.m. | Casa Comum da Reitoria, University of Porto
IndieJúnior Porto invites all teachers and education professionals to participate in the Preview of the 10th edition of the festival, an event that brings the school community closer to the programme and spirit of the event. The aim is to create a space for sharing and reflection on the educational potential of cinema — as a tool for learning, cultural empowerment, and training the eye.
In this session, four short films will be screened for the first time, which will be part of the festival’s official programme. After the screening, there will be an open conversation between participants, highlighting ideas, themes and approaches that can be worked on with students in a school context.
IndieJúnior Porto celebrates 10 editions and reaffirms itself as a reference point for the encounter between cinema and young audiences. The central theme of this edition is Joy — a celebration of the festival’s 10th anniversary and an opportunity to reflect on this emotion that brings people together, unites and inspires.
We also have a special moment in store: teachers linked to the National Film Plan are invited, as film lovers, to create a playlist of songs from memorable films — a relaxed sharing that promises good energy and movement at the start of the festival.
Date: 18 November, at 6 p.m.
Location: Casa Comum / Rectory of the University of Porto
