In this 9th edition of IndieJunior – Porto International Children’s and Youth Film Festival, which runs from 27 January to 2 February and is dedicated to school audiences (3 to 18 years old) and family audiences (0 to 12 and their families), we’re going to try (even more) to bring people together, but this time around this great thing that is being a community “A group of people who create reciprocal relationships, who use common means to create things together, which they can enjoy”.

We chose the concept of “COMMUNITY” to guide our vision for the next edition of IndieJunior Porto. Because we need to have shared experiences together. Laughing, thinking, seeing and doing together!

A community is: a group of people who share common desires or tastes. Like going to the cinema.
A community is being common in a group, where there is no segregation, but rather unity.
Belonging to a community is accepting that it is the differences and the creative potential of each person that contribute to building a stronger common good.
