FRANCISCA DELGADO

Fun fact:
When she was little, she used to put her legs behind her head and sit like that watching TV. Mini gymnast!

Francisca’s first movie: Feiticeiro de Oz, Mary Poppins, Peter Pan, or Pipi das Meias Altas!!!

 

IRINA RAIMUNDO

Fun fact:
When she was a little girl, she once went to the Alcobaça movie theater and came out with her pants full of chewing gum.

Irina’s first movie: O cinema Paraíso, A academia de polícia & O Estranho Mundo de Jack

 

JÉSSICA PESTANA

Fun fact:
She couldn’t bear to wear pants until she was 10 or 12 because the seams bothered her.

Jessica’s first movie: I had a lot of VHS tapes, but my favorite was Sleeping Beauty. It’s a very important movie for me even today because it allows me to understand the social ties that grew with me and that I still try to deconstruct every day. A blonde princess who helped me understand the importance of representation, the issue of consent and the fact that the princess only achieves happiness when she establishes herself in a loving relationship with a man she doesn’t know. The dystopian realities we’re used to seeing in children’s movies are often closer to reality than we think.
