In this 9th edition of IndieJúnior Porto, we’ve teamed up with RTP to bring you a session about the history and goals of two Portuguese children.
These short films are part of RTP’s documentary series Sim, eu consigo. This series tells the stories of children between the ages of 8 and 12 from various countries who set out to conquer a challenge that is important to them.
This session, with the same name as the series, will feature two short films by Francesco Cerruti, Talking Hands and Backflip. In Talking Hands, the first film of the session, Tiago, a child who was born deaf and feels isolated, has a plan to communicate, without barriers, with the world. In the second movie of this session, Backflip, Mateus is a Portuguese-American child and his dream is to be one of the greats, jumping off the roofs of buildings and doing a backflip.
This session counts with the presence of Andrea Basílio, who is responsible for RTP’s children’s and youth programs.
