It’s time for the Call for Entries for the next edition of IndieJúnior Porto.
IndieJúnior Porto – the 11th International Children’s and Youth Film Festival – will take place from 25 to 31 January 2027. It is a film festival aimed at children and young people, with programmes tailored for families and schools, promoting access to culture through cinema.
The selection includes animated, fiction and documentary films, carefully curated to suit the target audience: ages 3+, 6+, 10+, 13+ and 16+; for schools: pre-school, primary (cycles 1, 2 and 3) and secondary.
Short films (up to 45 minutes) in the genres of fiction, animation, documentaries or experimental films produced in 2025, 2026 or 2027 are eligible to apply.
There are two awards: the Impact Award (€1,000) and the Audience Award (€300).
You can submit your films until 30 September. Portuguese short films are exempt from the entry fee.
